GENERAL

What is SaleCY?
SaleCY.com is an online store that focuses on selling cool stuff at a price that's lower than anyone else on the Island. We sell one item per day until it is sold out or until 11:59pm Cyprus time when it is replaced with a new item. A new product is released every night at midnight (12am) seven days a week. If a product sells out during its run, a new item will not appear until the next release time. You will know if a product is sold out, because the main page says "SOLD OUT" instead of "Buy It!".
I missed yesterday's item, can I still get one?
No. Each product is discontinued at 11:59pm and that's that. We generally do not sell the same item twice. We may get more at a later date if we're lucky, but it is unlikely and we do not allow backorders, and we have no waiting/notification lists.
I want to talk to a live person there, can I call you?
No. We are busy sourcing new products and shipping orders. All your questions should be answered on the FAQs page. If you still need to contact us you can do so using the "Contact Us" page, and we will reply as soon as possible.
Can I return my goods?
No. If you buy something you don't end up liking or you have what marketing people call "buyer's remorse", then you cannot return it. The way we manage to sell items cheaper than anyone else on the island is by not getting bogged down with returns. Instead we spend our time searching for great deals to pass on to our customers. This does not affect your statutory rights.
My goods are defective, what do I do?
If you think there's a problem with your product, we suggested you firstly Google your problem to find out if other people are experiencing the same fault, and if there is a simple fix, or if you are doing something wrong. Reference the manufacturer's website and try to contact them and ask if they know a fix. If you give up and must return it to us, then follow on to the next FAQ entry.
How do I return a defective product?
Please be sure returned goods are faulty and the problem experienced is not caused by user error or by software configuration. If after having received Technical Support information you are completely satisfied you have faulty goods please request an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorisation) by emailing rma@SaleCY.com with your order number, the name of the product you are returning, and the detailed problem with the item. We will respond with return authorisation. Any goods that have been modified or physically altered in any way shall be deemed Warranty Void and no support will be provided. Returned items should be packaged properly and shipped in a plain outer box. PLEASE NOTE: All returned items will be tested by SaleCY technicians. Any item found not to be faulty will be subject to a €15 charge + return shipping back to the customer. You will be notified by e-mail before any non-faulty goods are returned to you. This does not affect your statutory rights.

ORDERING

How do I create an account?
Scroll up to the top of this page where it says "Hi. Are you new?" Click "Start here." You will need to supply a valid email address and a password of your choice. Then click on the GO button and your account is ready for buying products.
What payment options do I have?
Cash on delivery. That's it. We do not accept any other form of payment, without exception.
Can I cancel my order?
You can only cancel your order if it is before 11.59pm on the day you placed the order. To do so log in and go to Your Account | View All Orders, then click on the item you want to cancel and click Cancel This Order
What are my shipping options?
Your orders will be shipped directly to your door using A.C.S. Couriers. They are a very reliable and professional company, and all our shipping is done through them. All orders are sent on a "Cash On Delivery" basis. Unauthorized non-acceptance or non-payment of an order you have placed will result in your account being suspended, and your address being blacklisted.
When will I receive my order?
All orders ordered before 11.59pm will be shipped on the next working day between the hours of 3pm & 6pm. On rare occasions your delivery may take two working days, depending on the product. The courier will call you before delivery to confirm that you are at the address you have specified.
Do you delivery to my door?
We delivery to most post codes in the Republic of Cyprus, but if your address is a little more remote you will be contacted by ACS Couriers in order for you to collect your item from one of its 20 local ACS Depots spread across the island.
Why isn't my country listed; do you ship internationally?
No, we do not ship outside of the Republic of Cyprus at this time.
I want to buy them all, what is my discount?
When you buy more than one item, the shipping charge is worked out based on the predetermined weight of the item, so you are likely to save money on the shipping for multiple purchases. Our products are intended for end users not retailers so the quantities of items you are able to buy per day are limited, depending on the product.
I'm a wholesaler/retailer; can I use your site to sell my stock?
Of course! We encourage you to contact us with any stock you want to clear. Please email us using the "Contact Us" page and we will get back to you.

Advertising - Can I advertise on your site?
For information on our rates & availability email us using the "Contact Us" page and we will reply as soon as possible. If you'd like to hear back from us, there are a few useful things you should include in your message: your name your phone number / other contact info the name of your business the type/category of product the web address

We do not share or sell your personal information for marketing purposes. SaleCY collects information (such as your name, shipping and billing address, email address, etc.) from you that we need to: process your order; provide you with member support; send you newsletters and other communications such as polls, surveys, and special offers (optional). SaleCY will set and access our own cookies on your computer to allow you to buy and interact at the site. SaleCY may share information collected by us with third parties to help process your order (e.g. shipping companies, etc.) or to provide statistical and demographic analysis to SaleCY to help us and our business partners provide you with better services and offerings. SaleCY will not share, rent, lease, or sell your personal information (e.g. your email address, your name, your address, etc.) to any third party for their independent use or benefit. Future changes to this Privacy Policy may be made at any time by sending you an email or posting the notice.
